Then , Imus moved to Hollywood with his brother in an attempt to find success as musicians and songwriters.
After dropping out of the University of the Pacific , Imus worked as a brakeman on the Southern Pacific Railroad.
He Suffered a mining accident that broke both of his legs and collapsed one lung.
